VIRUS - Powerlock hardboot binding - standard

The Virus Powerlock Skwal hardboot snowboard  binding is one of the most advanced  bindings on the market. It's made from extremely durable aircraft grade Aluminium CNC milled from a block. It´s a freeflex system, which means the extremely rigid plate transfers the power over a 100 mm diameter circle to the board. So, through this short contact length, the board can bend more to a radius under the binding, which gives much more performance. The positive side effect is that the board is not that much stressed by compression break failure, which is one of the most common damages which can happen to destroy your snowboard. 

With the Powerlock binding comes the VIRUS Absorption Plate. A carbon material mix plate which is mounted between the board and the bindings and extracts the microvibration which mostly appears on icy and rough slopes. The microvibrations let the muscles get tired rapidly...so you have a more relaxed ride and waist less power using the Powerlock binding. 

The binding is available in Stepin and standard configuration. For the Stepin, we use the original our own reinforced 4 mm instead of 3mm stainless steel parts. The bindings only uses standard M6 screws at 20mm, 25 mm and 30 mm. They are easy to get anywhere in the world.

Die VIRUS Powerlock SKWAL Snowboard Bindung ist eine der am weitesten entwickelten SKWAL Hardboot Bindungen auf dem Markt. Die Bindung wird aus Aircraft Grade Aluminium aus dem vollen Block gefräst. Bei der Bindung handelt sich um ein sogenanntes Freeflex System, das heißt die Bindung überträgt über einen Durchmesser von ca. 100 mm Durchmesser die Kraft auf das Board. Dadurch wird die Kontaktfläche der Bindung zum Board reduziert und das Board kann sich runder unter der Bindung durchbiegen. Gleichzeitig wir die Gefahr eines Stauchungsbruchs oder einer Stauchung des Boards, die am häufigsten vorkommende Ursache eines Boards erheblich reduziert.

 Die Bindung kommt mit M6 Schrauben in Standard Längen M6 x 20mm, 25mm und 30 mm. Diese sind überall erhältlich und daher gibt es keine Ersatzteil Probleme sollte mal eine Schraube defekt sein. Die Stepin Variante kommt mit dem bewährten Teilen von INTEC, tausendfach erprobt und sicher.
