The VIRUS Avalanche AFT (advanced freeride technology) is one of the most futuristic freeride boards on the market! Based on physically based shape technology in combination with 30 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering of snowboards and skis, we wanted to develop a board which combines perfect float and performance in powder and perfect carving abilities. The rocker nose and tail part work perfectly together with the extended edge length when it comes to carving. So the board is still very easy to maneuver when you have narrow slopes or steep parts.    

The Avalanche AFT 176 is for those who like higher speeds big mountain riding and love to carve really extreme even with softboots.

• VIRUS Avalanche AFT (this product): The basic version of the Avalanche series, you can see the wood core through the transparent panel! Best for riders who want to experience advanced AFT technology at the lowest cost. 
• VIRUS Avalanche AFT FLP: The star of VIRUS snowboards with excellent high-speed snow cutting stability while maintaining good float on powder snow. 
• VIRUS Avalanche AFT FLP camocarbon: It has the same performance as the classic FLP but has a cool camo carbon-fiber top sheet! 
• VIRUS Avalanche AFT Grand Tour: Based on Avalanche AFT FLP, the split board is dedicated to bringing AFT technology to mountaineers and skiers. Avalanche AFT Grand Tour split board are compatible with Karakoram's split board binding system.
